Birth Doula Services

When you hire me as your birth doula, I will schedule at least two prenatal visits with you and your family. During these visits, we will discuss your vision for the birth, a birth plan, and any other ways I can support you and your family during your pregnancy and birth. One visit will be spent getting to know you and your hopes for the upcoming birth, and writing out your birth plan. The second will be discussing comfort measures, different labor positions, and any other ways I can support you.

Once the first nonrefundable payment is made, I will be available to you for any support or questions during business hours. My on-call period begins once payment is made in full, and as soon as three weeks before your due date. I will remain on call until your baby is delivered. This means I am available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, when you go into labor, or if you have any urgent questions.

When you go into labor, I will join you as soon as you and your family decide you need support. It usually takes me 1-2 hours to get to you once we have made that decision, depending on where you live. I will stay with you through your labor and delivery, and for up to two hours after the birth.

I will check in with you after your baby is born, to give any support you need. I offer at least one postpartum visit after your baby comes home to make sure you're settling in and everything is going well. I will also be available to you by phone 24/7 for a few days after the birth and during business hours for two weeks after your baby is born if you need anything.
